This summer, the team will work extensively on filming and locating artifacts! Currently on the schedule we're donating time to scanning memories of the past and prepare for key interviews in the coming weeks. Also, constructions hasn't stopped at The Cobb! We are eager to be able to allocate more time to filming the renovation process!
What We're Working On
About the Documentary
The Digital Media Program at Buena Vista University is excited to capture and share the Cobblestone story as it enters a historic transition. With such rich memories created inside these walls, students are working to locate and encapsulate these stories to portray this significance a place such as the Cobblestone has to a community. Led by professor Jerry Johnson, Digital Media students currently are getting their first look at the ballroom in following the renovation process and gaining an understanding for the significance this building has. With interviews already conducted with those who have worked at Cobblestone, performed on the stage, and even those who were regulars, the team is in search of more people to share their story! If you or anyone you know has a story we would love to hear from you! While the renovation process may take upwards of three years, throughout this time the Digital Media program at Buena Vista University will highlight the past to strengthen the present and prepare for what the future holds in this historic building.
